TOUCH Young Arrows (TYA) had its inaugural charity run last year on 12th March 2011. Held at East Coast Park, the non-competitive run attracted people from all walks of life and people across different age groups. This year, to up the ante for the runners, we have introduced a competitive 10km race, alongside the usual 5km leisure run, where the top three runners get to bring home a medal as well as attractive prizes.
Through this event, we hope to raise funds for TYA, and also raise awareness on the activities and services provided by TYA, in order to help the families in need and even attract more potential volunteers. The run also seeks to promote good family bonding and a healthy lifestyle.
